The specific services, deliverables, and pricing included in your publishing package will be communicated to you via email prior to any payment being made. This email shall serve as the official record of the package you have selected.
It is the Author's responsibility to review the package details provided in the email carefully and raise any concerns or request clarification before proceeding with payment. Once payment is made, the Author is deemed to have reviewed and accepted the package as described in the email correspondence.
The Author retains full ownership of the original manuscript and all creative content submitted to Book Publishing Department. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as a transfer of intellectual property rights from the Author to the Company.
By submitting content to Book Publishing Department, you represent and warrant that:
The Author is solely responsible for any legal claims arising from the content of the published work. Book Publishing Department shall not be held liable for such claims.
All fees for services must be paid in full as outlined in the package details communicated via email. The full package fee is required upfront before any work is initiated. Payments are accepted via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or approved online payment platforms.
The standard project completion timeframe at Book Publishing Department is 12 to 16 weeks from the date of project initiation. This timeline is an estimate and is subject to variation based on the complexity of the project and, most significantly, the responsiveness of the Author.
Timely provision of materials, feedback, approvals, and responses by the Author is essential to meeting the projected timeline. Delays caused by the Author's failure to respond or provide required materials will extend the project timeline accordingly and do not constitute a breach of obligation by the Company.
Book Publishing Department will keep the Author informed of progress throughout the project and will communicate any anticipated delays as early as possible.
Book Publishing Department maintains a clear and fair refund policy based on the circumstances of each request. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the dedicated representative assigned to the Author.
Upon acceptance of a refund request, the approved amount will be processed and returned to the Author within 30 days to the original payment method.
Book Publishing Department treats all submitted manuscripts, personal information, and business communications as strictly confidential. We will not share, sell, or disclose your content or personal data to third parties except as necessary to fulfill our obligations (e.g., submitting files to printing or distribution partners).
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any proprietary information shared during the course of the business relationship. This obligation survives termination of any engagement.
Book Publishing Department makes no guarantees regarding sales performance, market reception, bestseller status, or the commercial success of any published work.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for:

Either party may terminate their engagement by providing written notice of no fewer than 14 days. Upon termination:
The Company reserves the right to terminate any engagement immediately and without notice if the Author breaches any provision of these Terms, including but not limited to submitting fraudulent, plagiarized, or harmful content.

References to Amazon, Barnes & Noble Press, IngramSpark, and other publishing platforms are made solely to describe platforms through which authors may choose to publish or distribute their books.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration before any court action is pursued.
